The Friends of the Dimmick Memorial Library is a nonprofit, all volunteer organization whose mission is to support the Dimmick Memorial Library which serves Jim Thorpe, Nesquehoning, Penn Forrest and Kidder Township.  We are a dedicated group of people supporting the Library by focusing on fundraising and community outreach.Volunteering is incredibly easy as we will gladly work with whatever talents you possess and the hours are of your own making.  There are no requirements except a desire to keep the Library functioning and growing to continue to be a valuable resource for everyone in our community.
